I’m Kim. I live in Wisconsin with my husband and our 18 year old Tabby, Gabe.

My blog is about building a 3-month pantry stock, gardening, food, recipes, and senior living & lifestyle with a tiny bit of 70s nostalgia (growing up on a farm, going to school in a small town kind of nostalgia).

I work full-time in finance, part -time as a copy editor, and I also create content on the internet, primarily for YouTube.

This blog is dedicated to my great- great- grandfather Manuel (4th generation farmer) pictured here with my great-great-grandmother Sarah. Many many years ago he bought his first farm in Ontario, Canada and soon after helped to frame his first barn–his pride and joy. Shortly afterward he contracted pneumonia and refusing to rest properly died at the young age of 40. He left behind his wife and 8 children. In July 2019 my husband and I visited the land my gr. gr. grandfather’s farm was once on and his grave site. The foundation of his once beloved barn is still there hidden in the overgrowth that was once a thriving farm.
